Molecular pump is a kind of vacuum pump which uses the high-speed rotating rotor to transfer momentum to the gas molecules to obtain the directional speed, so that it is compressed, driven to the exhaust port and then pumped out for the front stage.
Common molecular pumps
1) The gas molecules of the traction molecular pump collide with the high-speed rotor to obtain momentum, which is driven to the outlet of the pump.
2) The turbomolecular pump relies on the cooperation of rotating blades and stationary blades to achieve the pumping. This kind of pump usually works in the molecular flow state.
3) The compound molecular pump is a kind of compound molecular vacuum pump which is composed of two kinds of molecular pumps, turbine type and traction type.
